We Are All Connected
In this powerful 1-minute video, 13-year-old Anja Rožen from Slovenia describes her poster, which won the Grand Prize in the International Lions 2021-22 Peace Poster Contest. Her work beautifully encapsulates the core themes of the Planet Project: the voice of youth, partnership, interconnection, and harmony between people and planet. It beautifully expresses an idea whose significance many world leaders fail to grasp.
“My poster symbolizes that we are all connected to one another and to the planet. People are holding on to each other. If one lets go, the rest of them would fall. When people look at my poster, I want them to think about how much we are connected to people we might not even know. We are all members of the earth community and we need each other to survive in addition i want them to realize we need to respect the earth more and take better care of our planet.”
