Same Here

“Same Here” is a heartfelt musical collaboration between American country artist Brad Paisley and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, blending music with a message of global solidarity. Released in 2023 on the anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the song reflects on our shared human experiences—love, loss, family, freedom—across cultural and national divides. Zelenskyy’s spoken-word contribution reinforces that even in times of war, there’s a deeper human thread connecting us: “There is no distance between our two countries in such values.”

Filmed across both Nashville and Kyiv, and produced with a tone of hope rather than propaganda, the video emphasizes emotional resonance over political rhetoric. It elevates music as a form of diplomacy and unifying narrative.
