The Emergence Network
The Emergence Network is a translocal, transdisciplinary experiment in collective sense-making, postactivism, and cultural transformation, co-founded and curated by philosopher Bayo Akomolafe. It brings together scholars, artists, mystics, and facilitators exploring alternative approaches to societal crises—ones that embrace complexity, compost certainty, and invite new modes of knowing and becoming. Through events, conversations, online learning journeys, and embodied inquiry, the network challenges dominant narratives of modernity, development, and activism. Deeply aligned with the Planet Project’s values of truth-seeking, humility, sacred regard for life, and self-organizing change, The Emergence Network nurtures a space for slowing down, listening, and moving toward a planetary ethos beyond mastery and control.
