Regenerosity

Regenerosity is a nonprofit that empowers community-led regenerative projects in threatened or degraded landscapes by providing trust-based, flexible funding, capacity-building, and narrative amplification. With roots in the Buckminster Fuller Institute, Lush Spring Prize, and UNDP’s Equator Prize, Regenerosity connects funders directly with grassroots stewards through programs like Blossom, Seed, Nurture, and Pollinate:

• Blossom supports two-year cohorts of local projects focusing on agroecology, food security, and ecosystem restoration—empowering Indigenous and rural communities in places like East Africa, Brazil, and India
• Seed offers rapid‑response funding guided by community leaders for localized initiatives across Africa and Brazil
• Nurture fosters collaborative learning among funders to refine regenerative funding models
• Pollinate shares powerful grassroots stories—such as the Liberation Agriculture film series—to inspire wider regenerative action .

Operating globally since 2019, Regenerosity has reached 400+ initiatives and continues to support place-based leaders navigating complex ecological and social challenges.

Alignment with Planet Project:
Regenerosity exemplifies regenerative values by shifting power, knowledge, and resources to local stewards, applying Indigenous-led ecological principles, and fostering collective learning. Their holistic, trust-based model resonates with the Planet Project’s focus on decentralization, relational governance, ecological respect, and systemic change.
