Regen Network
Regen Network is building digital public infrastructure for a regenerative economy—creating ways for ecological stewardship itself to become visible, verifiable, governable, and fundable. Its ecosystem brings together land stewards, scientists, technologists, communities, and funders through open protocols for measuring ecological outcomes, registering projects, creating ecological assets, and directing capital toward regeneration. Importantly, its approach extends beyond carbon to biodiversity, water, soil health, ecosystem health, and other dimensions of living systems, while emphasizing participatory stewardship, open science, interoperability, and community governance. In Three Horizons terms, Regen Network is a powerful Horizon 2 experiment in Horizon 3 economic and technological infrastructure: using tools developed within today’s digital economy to prototype new systems in which ecological regeneration becomes an organizing principle of value creation. Its work strongly reflects the Planet Project’s commitments to ecological stewardship, systems thinking, cooperation, transparency, decentralization, and the flourishing of the living Earth.
