OpenCivics Labs
OpenCivics Labs is a cooperative guild of civic innovators dedicated to experimenting with collaborative network solutions and developing open templates that support collective action in response to critical civilizational challenges. Serving as the research and development arm of the OpenCivics Network, the Labs bring together systems thinkers, facilitators, designers, and researchers who are at the forefront of distributed governance and collaborative process design for networked organizations. OpenCivics Labs’ mission to experiment with collaborative network solutions and open templates for collective action aligns closely with the Planet Project’s vision of social justice and environmental stewardship. Both organizations emphasize the importance of participatory design, community engagement, and systemic change to foster a thriving civilization.
