Ecosystem Restoration Communities

Ecosystem Restoration Communities envisions a fully-functional, peaceful, abundant, biologically diverse Earth brought about through cooperative efforts for the ecological restoration of degraded lands. Their mission is to work together to restore ecological functionality, to build research, training and innovation centers for ecological restoration, to engage people in inquiry into ecological restoration, and train people in how to restore degraded lands in perpetuity. They offer the opportunity to: (1) LEARN via courses that give everyday people the chance to become ecosystem restoration practitioners, (2) PARTICIPATE in hands-on experiences at locations around the world, to develop a deeper connection with the earth and actively take part in restoring the land and (3) DISCOVER restoration projects already making a difference in the world.
