Center for Regenerative Solutions
Center for Regenerative Solutions is working to shift the climate response from simply reducing harm toward restoring the living systems that regulate climate and sustain human communities. Its distinctive contribution is advancing nature-based climate solutions that regenerate soils, forests, watersheds, biodiversity, and the ecological processes through which landscapes capture carbon, cycle water, moderate temperature, and support life. Equally important, it treats regeneration as a community project—bringing ecological science, local knowledge, public institutions, and citizen participation together to restore the places people actually inhabit. In Three Horizons terms, the Center is helping build a Horizon 2 bridge beyond the carbon-centric logic of Horizon 1 toward a Horizon 3 culture in which climate action becomes inseparable from healing ecosystems and rebuilding reciprocal relationships between people and place. Its work strongly reflects the Planet Project’s commitments to sacred regard for life, ecological stewardship, interconnectedness, systems thinking, and participatory, place-based transformation.
