Brahma Kumaris

The Brahma Kumaris is a global spiritual movement founded in 1936 by Lekhraj Kripalani (“Brahma Baba”) in Hyderabad (now Pakistan). It promotes transformation from material to soul consciousness through Rajyoga meditation and daily spiritual teachings (murlis), transcending labels like race, gender, and religion. Uniquely led by women from its inception, the organization has grown to over 8,500 centers in more than 110 countries, offering free spiritual education, community service, and promoting peace, inner stability, and universal love. Its ethos aligns deeply with the Planet Project’s values of self-awareness, compassion, truth-seeking, interconnectedness and the power of inner transformation.
