Bayo Akomolafe

Bayo Akomolafe is a philosopher, poet, writer, educator and public intellectual whose work spans psychology, post‑humanist theory, decolonial thought, and planetary consciousness. As founder and Chief Curator of The Emergence Network, he convenes global conversations and experiments in post‑activism, ecological relationality, spiritual depth, and cultural re‑imagining. He coined concepts like “postactivism,” “ontofugitivity,” and “transraciality,” offering frameworks for responding to global crises with humility, creativity, and a sense of radical interdependence. Akomolafe’s work resonates strongly with the Planet Project’s core values — truth‑seeking, spiritual gravity, ecological respect, interconnectedness, compassionate transformation, and self‑organizing social change.
